Make your own way to your accommodation to meet your Tour Director who will assist you with check in. Enjoy a free evening to spend as you wish.

Discover Amsterdam today with a scenic canal cruise and take in the city’s sights from the water! In the afternoon, choose to continue exploring Amsterdam at your own pace or venture into the picturesque Dutch countryside. Admire iconic windmills, learn about traditional cheese-making, and see how classic wooden clogs are crafted. This evening, join the group for a warm welcome dinner.

This morning, leave Amsterdam behind and journey into Germany. Our first stop is the historic, Hanseatic city of Bremen, famed for its striking Gothic Cathedral and the UNESCO-listed City Hall. From here, continue to Hamburg, Germany’s largest port and a vibrant maritime hub. Explore the charming Old Town and lively harbourfront before settling into our hotel for the night.

Today, we bid farewell to Germany and board the ferry from Puttgarden to Rødby, Denmark. Enjoy a scenic 45-minute crossing. From here, travel onwards to Copenhagen, where the colourful streets and lively atmosphere of the Danish capital await. Take in your first views of this captivating city before settling into the hotel for the evening.

Set out on a walking tour of Copenhagen, taking in famous sights like the Little Mermaid statue, the colourful Nyhavn harbour, the Marble Church, and the city’s elegant palaces, gardens, and squares. Then, enjoy a relaxing canal cruise through the city’s charming waterways. In the afternoon, explore at your own pace. Perhaps visit the magical Tivoli Gardens before returning to the hotel.

Bid farewell to Denmark as we cross the spectacular Øresund Bridge, Europe’s second-longest, into Sweden. Our first stop is Malmö, Sweden’s third-largest city, where you can wander the charming Gamla Staden and admire the striking Turning Torso tower. Then, continue to Gothenburg, Sweden’s lively second city. Enjoy a driving and walking tour of its Old Town and picturesque waterfront before settling in for the night.

Today, cross into Norway via the stunning Svinesund Bridge, which spans the Iddefjord. Continue to Oslo, Norway’s vibrant capital. Set off on a sightseeing tour to see highlights such as Akershus Fortress, City Hall, Parliament, and the striking Oslo Opera House. In the afternoon, take the opportunity to discover the fascinating story of Thor Heyerdahl’s legendary Kon-Tiki expedition at the dedicated museum before strolling through Vigeland Park to admire sculptures of Norway’s most celebrated sculptor. Finally, check into the hotel for the night.

This morning, leave Norway’s capital and set out to explore its legendary fjords! Our journey takes us to Laerdal, nestled on the southern shores of the breathtaking Sognefjord. Along the way, marvel at dramatic mountain landscapes and picture-perfect vistas. Upon arrival, settle into our hotel and enjoy a delicious local dinner.

This morning, enjoy a spectacularly scenic drive to Flam. Upon arrival, set sail on a cruise through the UNESCO-listed Naeroyfjord, often hailed as the most beautiful branch of the Sognefjord. Take in soaring mountains, cascading waterfalls, and charming farms en route to the picturesque village of Gudvangen. In the afternoon, return by coach to the hotel for dinner.

Leave the fjords behind and journey to Lillehammer, the charming resort town famous for hosting the 1994 Winter Olympics. En route, pass traditional stave churches and soak in breathtaking scenery. On arrival, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the town’s historic wooden buildings. Then, take some free time to wander the inviting pedestrian streets before checking into the hotel for the night.

Depart Lillehammer this morning and travel back to Sweden. First up is the town of Orebro. Located in the heart of Sweden, this charming city is home to a 14-century castle and magnificent Art Nouveau buildings. Then, continue to Stockholm, the largest city in Scandinavia. Settle into the hotel and look forward to a full day in the vibrant Swedish capital tomorrow.

Explore Stockholm like a local today, by foot and using public transport. Admire the terracotta buildings and wander the winding alleyways of Gamla Stan (Old Town). Marvel at landmarks including the Royal Palace, Parliament House, Royal Opera, and Kungsträdgården. Then, hop on a ferry to Djurgården, home to the city’s top museums. Don’t miss the Vasa Museum, featuring the nearly fully intact 17th-century ship. Later, enjoy free time to explore before returning to the hotel.

Sadly, all good things come to an end, and our memorable North Europe and Scandinavia tour finishes today after breakfast. Say farewell to your group before heading to your next destination. Group Tour Shop wishes you a safe journey home!
